May 11, Noon. Rose Circle Park This month’s ST&T will feature Dr. Anthony (Tony) Martin. Dr. Martin is geologist and paleontologist at Emory University, where he teaches classes in geology, paleontology, and environmental sciences. He is especially interested in traces, such as tracks, burrows, and nests, which he will teach us to recognize as we walk along the trail. He will also likely talk about the dinosaurs we’ll see along the way, which some people still insist on calling “birds.”

The purpose of TVIW is to facilitate interstellar research and exploration by hosting regular summit meetings, encouraging educational advances, publishing technical and scientific papers, and supporting literature and culture, all in the service of enhancing public understanding and dialogue toward interstellar exploration. TVIW will assist in building a technological, philosophical, and economic infrastructure that advances the goal of establishing outposts throughout the Solar System and, finally, achieving a pathway to the stars.
